wow..you are very much in the know about these units...thank you...this is where the confusion arises....I believe the T.L.
Barrett to be Tilman Barrett, whose mother was Susan Barrett..according to newspaper accounts, he live to be an old man and raised a family in Louisiana...I can find no other T. Barrett from Spalding county in the 13th GA Infantry..so who is the T. Barrett buried in the cemetery....their records definitely show he was in the 13th GA and he was from Spalding County..I am new at this, so I am not sure how to find out any further information..do you have any ideas? Maybe mistaken identity, or identity theft.. could another T Barrett have enlisted at a later date? Thanks again
