Paul,
According to my records, Wm. A. REEVES b. ~1794 d.after 1850 Fayette Co., GA. census. He 1/md Camilla CLEVELAND 8 Dec. 1822 in Jasper Co., GA. She died 1 Dec 1833. He 2/md Martha Ann BLACK 30 April 1835 in Gwinnett Co., GA.

Martha Ann REEVES is on the 1860 Fayette Co.census with 8 children including Amos W. REEVES who was born ~1845. If Camilla died in 1833, that would make Martha Ann Amos W. REEVESs mother. If you would like the names of the children on the 1860 census, I'll be happy to post them.

Also, my records show that Wiley REEVES b. 1769 died in Fayette Co., GA. as did his wife Rebecca THOMPSON. Spalding came from parts of Fayette Co., so they could actually lie in what is now Spalding Co. but I don't know where.

Hope this helps.
Alyce REEVES BAILEY

P.S. I descend from Wiley and Rebecca through their son Wyatt and his wife Martha Elizabeth STURGIS.
