I was lucky enough to find and buy a copy of this book (subtitle "Epitaphs of Tombstones in Family Cemeteries in Screven County Ga: complied in the late 1970's by W M Youman. If you need someone looked up, e-mail me and I'll try to help. Peg pootbear@hotmail.com put Screven Co grave in the subject line, please.
Meanwhile if anyone spots Mulligan and/or Brannon (Brannen) family graves, please let me know. I know about those in Friendship Baptist and Buck Creek Methodist but hope to find a Brannen/on Family Cemetery somewhere. I 'think" Eugenia Brannen (d about 1900) may have been buried in the now destroyed Green Family Cemetery off hwy 301 on what was 'the old Brannon Family Plantation" but...I am still looking. Thanks
