I think I may be connected to this family, but lack proof.

I am descended from Martha Emanuel, b. Oct. 5, 1817 in Georgia, Married June 07, 1836, in Decatur Co., Ga, Jesse Womack, b. November 19, 1813.

Their children were: Rebecca, John, Mary, Edward C., Lucinda, Nancy, Elizabeth, Lewis, Zeanie, Martha, Monroe, and Asa.

I see a possible connection based on family names. Would appreciate any information you might have that could help me.

Wondering if Martha might be the child of John Emanuel of Screven Co. who received a land grant in Early County (later Decatur?) in the 1821? land lottery.
