Hi Stephanie, I can't answer your question exactly. But maybe this will help. My husband descends from Hardy Hunter Moore and Ruth Hendricks Hodges. Ruth first married Ashbury Hodges, who died in the Civil War. After the war, she married Hardy, who was a cousin, I think first cousin, of Asbury Hodges. Hardy's parents were John Lanier Moore and Ellender Barber. Ashbury's parents were Joseph Carruthers Hodges and Mary Ann Alderman. I don't see your names in the direct lineage of these two families, but this does give you a good idea of where to look. These Moores were in Emanuel Co from Screven, and the Hodges were in Bulloch. After their marriage, Hardy Hunter and Ruth lived in Bulloch County. So, these families were in the same area as where you are looking.
