Hodges, Moore families

We are seeking information on our Hodges and Moore lines.
Margaret R. Hodges (born June 1830 Screven Co) married John B. Moore (parents/dob unknown) in 1850 and they had 5 children between 1853 and 1860: John B. (my line), James Arthur, Martha, Calvin and William J.
John B (the father) joined the Confederate Army in the spring of 1861 and did not come home- his family never found out what happened to him. They simply waited.
Margaret, who died in Rocky Ford in 1907, applied for his confederate pension in 1893. Because John's fate was never established, Margaret had to have affidavits completed to verify her story. Her affidavits were signed by George W. Hodges, Paul B. Hodges and "T Colson". I have been able to find George W. and Paul Hodges in the US Federal Census records, but nothing on Margaret prior to 1860 after she was married.I can't find the link. Her death certficate does not show her parents.
Any assistance in figuring out which family Margaret came from in the Hodges lines would be gratefully appreciated!
