Sarah Martha Pearce - Warren -- Pearson

I am trying to find information about Sarah Martha Pearce. Her parents were Stepehn Calfrey Pearce and Mary Mills Pearce. Stephen's parents were Joshua Pearce, Sr. and Hannah Green Pearce. The ancestors of Sarah Martha were from Virginia. They may have moved from Virginia - to North Carolina - to Georgia. They settled in Screven County, Georgia. Sarah Martha was born in Screven County.

Stephen and Mary Mills Pearce had seven children. The two oldest children have the name Warren either as their given name or, for some reason, Warren is their surname. This is a bit of a puzzle to me.

The children of Mary Mills and Stephen Pearce are:
#1. Green D. Warren - born abot. 1792
#2. Mary Warren - born abt. 1793
#3. William F. Pearce - born abt. 1795
#4. Stephen Calfrey Pearce, Jr. - born abt 1797
#5. Joshua Pearce - born April 17, 1810
#6. Sarah Martha Pearce - born 1812, married: 1. Robert Warren 2. Col. John W. Pearson.
#7. Jane Eliza Pearce born 1814

Sarah Martha was married two times. She married Robert Warren on October 5, 1842. She was about seventeen. I have never been able to find any information about Robert Warren.

Her second marriage was to Col. John W. Pearson. They were married in Savannah on October 5, 1842. They later moved to Orange Springs, Florida and had five children. Sarah Martha Pearce - Warren - Pearson is buried at Orange Springs at the foot of a monument to her husband, Col. Pearson. He died in Augusta from wounds in the Civil War. After he died, he was buried in Savannah's Laurel Grove Cemetery, North Section.

Would love to hear from anyone who has information about this famiy. Thanks!
