I was told that in 1835 a John and Mary Davis transfered their letter from the Little Horse Baptist Church in Screven County to the Tired Creek Baptist Church in Decatur County, GA. What I need to know is if this was my John F. Davis and Mary Perkins, who according to Family Bible records married on Dec 11, 1828. I am not certain though if they married at the Little Horse Church or not, but by 1835 they should have had for children: Martha b.1829, Newon b. 1831, Sarah b. 1833, and Pharaby Davis b. Feb. 12, 1835!
Any help would be ever so gratefully appreciated because if this was my John and Mary a brick wall that I thought might never tumbled would come crashing down! Thanks for any help you might lend! God bless you, Donnis
