Looking for someone connected to the Scott family in Newton and Rockdale County, Georgia. They came from South Carolina probably abbeville. John Robinson Scott had a son James Harris Scott who fought in the Civil War. I believe James Harris Scott was born about 1839. I have found this family on census records and indigent children School records. If anyone is searching this particular family I would like to hear from you. John Robinson Scott moved on to Pontotoc County, MS and is buried there at Old Monroe Cemetery. It is a PResbyterian Church. James Harris Scott died in MArion County, AL and is buried at Old Union church and cemetery.Thank You
