Went to library instead of back to cemetery and this is what I found.

Report-Index of the Rockdale County Cemeteries, Compiled by Marion T. Farmer, Sept. 1996 (In school type 3 prong report folder.)
Taylor, Arch C Old Conyers 359
There was nothing on his wife.

Book-Rockdale County Cemetery Records - Vol. II, GAR929.5 RocV.2, Compiled by Elmer Smith, Conyers, GA, 1990
Page 359; Taylor, Arch C.; Died - Dec. 1850; Age 24 years
Again, nothing on wife.

I also found the following:

Book-The Rockdale Citizen, Rockdale County Cemtennial Edition, 1871-1971, Published by Citizen Publishing Co., GAR975.8215 Roc
"To a large extent, the "history" of Rockdale County is told..." (My Note: Articles made available through private contributions of information and photos.)

Index-Taylor, Archibald C. 8 2
Page 8, Column 2-"Listed below are the Postmaster... and the date appointed: Office in Newton County". "Archibald C. Taylor, June 15, 1869"

Being that he was appointed Postmaster after he died, and his daughter was born when he was approximately 14; there must have been two Archibald Taylors.
