According to 1900 Rockdale GA census Ophelia is 26 yrs of age married to John T Peak age 30yrs. John is a Farmer and they married in 1893/94 as years married 6. Their oldest child is Lena age 5yrs b Oct 1894, Virginia Lou b Oct 1896 son Jesse b 1899 age 1yr. They live in the Sheffield District of the county. 1910 Rockdale, Sheffield Dist-gives them living on Loganville Rd.They have added dau Bertha and son Mercer. 1920 30 They have added a new son Pierce age 6. Their home is rented
1930 All children are out of the house except Mercer and a son Ames P. John F and Ophelia are given on the census as Conyers to Zingara Rd. which is GA State 20 and Zingara turns off State 20 and runs to Hwy. 138. John F now is given as owning his home. Living with them is Lena F (Peek) Shaw widowed, dau Nellie Shaw age 15, Sarah Shaw age 11 son Marion Shaw age 8.
