Mary Sharp arrived in Agusta in the early 1800's from Maryland, with her two brothers and her infant son, Hiram. Mary had been married to, or had a child by, a Mr. Lessix in Maryland. Tha child, Hiram, was born in Maryland 15 Nov. 1789. In GA, he took his mother's name. He moved to Monroe CO., where he married Sarah Ann Owen, then moved to Carroll Co.I wish to know more about Mary -- who her ancestors (Esp. her mother and father) were, and if and to whom she remarried in Agusta or Richmond Co.
