My great great grandfather was Charles Baston, listed in the 1850 census for Columbia Co. and also Richmond Co. He and his wife Frances Olive Kelly, had the Oak Grove Plantation near Eubanks. Their daughter was Edna Earl Baston. She married Thomas Harley Micklejohn, of Milledgeville. They both moved to Texas. Thus we lost contact with the Bastons.

I would appreciate any information on the Bastons and Kellys. I have been told that
we get quite a bit of Cherokee from the Kelly
side.
