Looking for burial place of Benjamin Andrew. He was a member of The Georgia House of Representatives in 1790, from Richmond County. when Augusta was the State Capitol. Columbia County was split off from Richmond in 1790. His land was part of Richmond that was split off into Columbia. He died on the floor of the House of Representatives in December of 1790. He was A Colonial Patriot and "Son of Liberty". He was very active in the Fight for Independence. In 1777 he was President of the Council of Safety. He was elected a member of the U. S. House of Representatives in 1780. It is possible he is buried in Richmond County. Need help in finding where he is buried.
