There is a list of the patients who were at the State Hospital in Milledgeville. Georgia Archives has the list on microfilm. It's Central State Hospital, Medical Case Histories. I was just there in July and copied the list that had my great-grandmother. It also provides a brief paragraph regarding the patient. I am told that the state hospital will provide the information, if the patient was there over 75 years ago (guess it is a privacy issue). I have sent away requesting my great-grandmother's records, but have not heard back yet.
