The 4 Nov 1789 issue of the Augusta Chronicle includes a lost and found that proves the whereabouts of Andrew Hawk(e) in Richmond County at that time. The article states that a steer had wandered into the Andrew Hawke's pasture outside Augusta in the spring and he was still looking for the owner.
