Land grant lookup plaeas for 1774
Posted by: ross smith (ID *****1423) Date: August 30, 2009 at 21:12:45

Edward eckles received 100 acres of land in 1774. I think it was a land grant from the British govt but it might have been a purchase. It is listed in deed book M page 308 of I guess the Richmond co Ga deed book. He received a land grant in 1770 in Wrightsborough Ga which was in St Pauls Parish which later became Richmond co Ga. It was a Quaker colony. I guess the deed would be in the Richmond co deed book. I am trying to find wherre the 100 acres he received in 1774 was located and who he sold it to. Thanks, Ross
