I am sorting out the JAMES family of So.Richmond Co. around Bel Air, Blythe, and Hepzibah. Specifically,
William Henry James b. 1820?
married Nancy Ann Wray b. 1830
ch:William Henry married Marianna Anderson
Mary Frances married ??
Melvina married Thomas Jones
Joseph Augustus married Georgia Ann
Dismuke
Allen married Mary King
America "Teat" married Augustus Young &
John Jackson Talton
I believe the older William Henry was the son of Joseph James b.1790 NC. Who moved to Richmond Co. after 1805 from Craven Co. NC.
Many members of this family and other JAMES families are buried at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church on Deans Bridge Rd. Others buried at the cemetary are the ANDERSONS and the KINGS.

I would be very interested to talk to any one who has any of these names.
