Hi,
I hope this helps you. I have been searching for the James family out in Richmond Co. for a long time. I have a 1910 census sheet that lists some James's and at the bottom lists a bunch of prisoners all black.
The first listing was scratched out but I can just make out the last name Morgan. Down the left margin are the words Murray Mill Rd. In the margin above that near the top of the page are the words Briggs Sawmill Rd. I did not make a copy of the whole page since I was only interested in the James' at the top of the page. I don't know where these roads are but I do know they are out in the county probably where Ft Gordon is now.
