On the 1850 census there is an A. H. PERKINS listed, looks most promising to my search...does anyone know what this fellow's name is and does anyone have any connection to him?
The James and W. M.listed (likely William Madison who went by Madison and is in Livingston Parish LA in 1880 and 1900) are more than likely to be the brothers to my John P. Perkins b abt 1830 died abt 1910 in Cherokee Co., TX after traveling to Livingston Parrish, LA, IL, Madison Co., MO, Grayson Co., TX, McLennan Co., TX, Anderson Co., TX and finally to Cherokee Co., TX where he filed a confederate pension application and apparently died that same year.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
