Searching for Welborns in Rabun Co. I have very little knowledge about my grandfather's ancestry, but my aunt says Albert Lee Welborn, her father and my grandfather, was born in Raybun Co., Ga. He died here in Anderson, SC in 1964. He was born about 1900, he was unsure of the year. My aunt says his father was Martin Frank Welborn, but is not positive. Any papers that would have helped on this burned up in our home in 1969. He married Annie Inez Loftis. Any help would be appreciated. I am awaiting info from the funeral home that may help.
