A book of folk humor from the Appalachian Mountains, especially northeast GA, (and parts of NC and TN), contains numerous references to Rabun County folk all through the 1800's and 1900's.
A good deal of cultural history is also recorded in the book, which would prove of great interest to Rabun County natives and their kin of Southern Appalachia. The book is called "High Humor Of The Hills: History's Largest Collection Of True Appalachian Humor."
