Hello list,
I am looking for the father and mother of James Onie Carver, b. 23 March 1902 in Chechero, Rabun, Georgia. His grand father was Andrew L. Carver b. 1845-1847 in Georgia. James Onie Carver is listed as grandson Ona J Carver with no other males or married females in the household. I have one indication that his mother's name was Amanda Burton. Unless the census taker accidently put Single instead of married for Amanda Carver, then even that is suspect.
If you can shed any light on this or know of his Father or mother, it will be deeply appreciated. If you know where I can call or write for any birth information would also be appreciated.
