I am wondering if anyone knows of a church by this name in Rabun County, and, if so, can you tell me where it is located. The church probably is Baptist and may no longer be in existence. The reference I have is from an 1852 entry in some church minutes from Holly Springs Baptist Church in Oconee County, SC. In those minutes, Ms. Nelly Cobb was received into membership at Holly Springs on a letter of recommendation from "Union Church in Rabun Co." The hand written record is somewhat unclear and I am not positive that the name is "Union", but this seems the most likely.
