Obituary: Bryant Cemetery, Pacolet, S.C. [ Spartanburg Co.] April 25- 1955 EUGENE THOMAS CALLENBACK, 60, of Pacolet Mills died at General hospital early Sunday morning after an illness of one week. MR. CALLENBACK was a native of Rabun Co., Ga. and had lived at Pacolet Mills for the past 15 years. He was a machinist at Pacolet for the past 10 years and was a member of Pacolet Mills Baptist church. Surviving are; his wife, MRS. CLARA CALLENBACK; one foster son, ROGER HUNTER and 2 brothers, HENRY ARTHUR CALLENBACK of New Brighton, Pa., and ROBERT MILO CALLENBACK of Clayton, Ga. Funeral service will be conducted at Pacolet Mills Bapt. church by the Rev. JAMES CROCKER. The body will be at the home late this afternoon and will be placed in the church at 3 pm. Further arrangements will be announced by the Floyds Mortuary. [ He was buried at Bryant family cemetery. If anyone knows anything as to a connection to the Bryant family in Spartanburg, would appreciate any help. On his marker reads S.C. Pvt. 3 co.
