Hi Glenda,
I just found your posting to me from back in July. Mandy Edwards Gibson was my husbands great aunt. Mandy's brother, Jim Edwards, was my husband's grandfather.
I had also found Mandy's grave & agree with you that her birth year was 1875.
It was a shock for me to learn from your posting that Jim Hartley had died. I think the last time I heard from him, his mother, Martha, was alive & 82 years old. If it hadn't been for Jim, I never would have found out anything about either the Gibsons or the Edwards. All we knew was that my husband's grandfather was called Big Jim. We didn't even know he had siblings. Jim Hartley was a wounderful man & I really enjoyed chating with him. He had a great sense of humor.
Please feel free to e-mail me at my home, I would enjoy chating or exchanging information.
