Hi, are you certain of his death date? Have you attempted to get a death certificate for him? Death certificates for GA were required after 1919, I believe, but do not know about NC. Also, I have lived in Rabun County most of my life and have never heard of a Smith Indian Reservation. I would be interested in information regarding this reservation. My Smith relatives all lived here in the County and my great, great, great grandparents, Jesse and Rhoda Holmes Smith were said to have a son named Isaac.

What were the names of their children?
