FARTHING-ALFORD marriage 1878

I am looking for the marriage license of Reuben Theodore Frederick Farthing (1857-1932) to Martha Jane Alford (1861-1958). The marriage was probably in 1878, though the date given in the Alford Family records is 19 Dec 1878, yet they claimed 22 years of marriage on the 1900 Census. Also, the Alford Family records say they were married in Morgan County, where Martha ("Mattie") lived in 1870, but Reuben lived in Putnam County in 1870 and 1880, and there were Alfords living near him in 1880 (including one, Green Alford, who was probably Martha's brother). Green's middle name was Colquitt; Reuben & Martha's fourth child was Irving Colquitt Farthing, my great-grandfather; my middle name is Irving. So I'm just trying to cover my bases by checking both Morgan and Putnam counties. I've searched the Morgan County marriage books (many years in both directions) at the Georgia's Virtual Vault site, but the Putnam County marriage books aren't digitized there. Does anyone know where to find an index or extract for Putnam County so I can try to find them there? Many thanks, in advance.
