Do you know anything about M.G. Lynch, a merchant, of Putnam Co GA (the only way I have him mentioned) ? He served in the 44th GA Inf Co F in the Civil War. He married Anne/Anna Wright in Hancock Co probably, where her parents lived. They had no children who survivwed until 1880 when she is listed with her mother and sister in Baldwin Co as a widow.
M.G. is buried with no dates in Memory Hill Cem Milledgeville with Mrs M.G. beside him. However,
Anna remarried to W.H. Burkett in Twiggs Co and lived in Macon. He is buried in the same plot as the Lynches. It was owned by M.G.and there were some Wrights in it too It is a little odd, but I am trying to account for Anna, the sister of my Ggrandfather Pierce Wright, and would like to know if she was buried as a Lynch. She was married to Burkett for about 21 years. They were also childless. Anna lied about her age consistently and was 80 when she died in Macon but only admitted to 60.Thanks for any help. Fay
