Ms. Eberhardy, Thank you very much for the information that you provided regarding the Pine Grove Cemetery. The day that I visited the Pine Grove Cemetery I just drove around through the cemetery looking for DENNIS and NISBET tombstones. I came across three or four graves in a Dennis family plot, and took photos of the tombstones but they are so deteriorated that they are barely legible. I don't remember which web site but since arriving home I came across a web site regarding the Pine Grove Cemetery that not only reflects a list of people interred there but also includes many photos of tombstones, and even a few photos of people who are interred there. Still there is at least one person -- ROBERT ALONZA DENNIS who was a Civil War soldier killed in battle, Aug. 30, 1862, and was buried in Virginia. My records reflect that his father -- Michael Dennis had ROBERT ALONZA's remains moved to Pine Grove Cemetery, Eatonton, Georgia.

Have you ever heard of the "Old Cemetery" in Eatonton? I wanted to visit that cemetery while I was in Eatonton but was unable to find anyone who could tell me where it is located. My records reflect that NISBET family members are interred in that cemetery.

You mentioned that you have a cousin who is closely related to the Dennis family. I too wonder if it is the same family as mine. I don't know if this will help but the records I have reflect that Michael Dennis and Sarah Ann Adams BLAKE are my great great grandparents. Donny Dennis
