Hello Raymond,

My gr gr grandmother was Patsy Mangham, daughter of Wm. Mangham who was related to a Solomon Mangham. She married William M. Allen, my gr gr grandfather. There was more than one Solomon Mangham and some of that family started spelling Mangham as "Mangum, Mangrum, etc. Be sure to follow those names also. The father to Patsy, William Mangham, was a Joseph Mangham and his father was "William MANGUM, Sr.". He had a brother named Solomon Mangham. I do not know where any of these are buried. My William Allen and Patsy Mangham Allen left Putnam Co., Ga. about 1838, went to Tallapoosa Dist., Russell Co., Ala. with a 320 acre land grant - - and were in Leake County, Ms. by 1850. I hope this information may be helpful to you. Louis_Allen@hotmail.com
