Abraham Jones

I'm looking for census records for Abraham Jones b. Wales (?)who came to Virginia c. 1815-6, married a NA (family story), moved to Putnam Co., GA c. 1817 where their son, James was born. I'm really trying to track where in Wales Abraham was from AND any proof that his wife was NA (Powhatan Nation). James and his wife, Nancy Banks Jones may be buried in a church or town cemetary, but Abraham and his wife, I'm sure they were just buried on their farm. I guess my question is are there any free online records of Putnam and surrounding counties (or the state) that cover the period of say 1820-1850. Abraham is my 3rd great grandfather, and he is the one I'm most interested in. Thanks.
