Searching for ancestors (& siblings) of James Allen and Chloe Collins Allen who were in Wilkes CO., Ga. by 1784 to 1805, then in Baldwin Co. in area that became Putnam CO., Ga. by 1807. They had children Elizabeth, Jourdin, William M., Susannah, John, Green Berry, Thomas Van, George A. F. and Anna. James was born 1755-60 and died in 1818 in Putnam Co., Ga. Chloe Collins Allen was bron 1760-65 and died in Putnam Co, Ga. about 1841. They were my gr gr gr grandparents. They owned the land where Eatonton, the Putnam County Seat was established.
