I have a great deal of information on the family of Edmund and his father, John and some of the other children of John. Have gotton most of this information from Dudley O'Neal. I would like to share what I have. My e-mail address is Fallonfox@aol.com. I am particularily interested in documenting all the children of John O'Neal.
I am a Roberts researcher and have traced Nancy Roberts' brother Willis all the way down. We do not know who Willis, Nancy, William's parents were.
As for Nancy Roberts, I only know this:
5. (f) Elizabeth Roberts married Edmund O'Neal in Putnam Co.
daughter Rebecca V. O'Neal m. Judge Osborne Tripp (supreme court)
They had two boys and two girls. Annie, the youngest, married Allen G. Simmons,
son of Thomas Jefferson Simmons (25 JUN 1837 - 13 SEP 1905). T. J. Simmons was Chief Justice, Supreme Court 1894-1905; Associate Justice, Supreme Court 1887-1894; State Senator
1866-1876; Judge, Superior Court 1879-1887. T. J. Simmons had three wives: Pennie Hollis (m. 1859-64), Lucille Peck (m. 1967-1882), Mrs. Nannie R. Renfro (m. 1888-) who with three of
his children survived him.
Would like to learn more on any of their connections. Thank you
