Thanks Jim, Between what you've told me and some information I gathered earlier this evening from a Jones County GA friend, I now have a better idea of where the property is located. I hope to make a trip to visit it soon. You've been very helpful and I appreciate the information tremendously. I may contact the bank about the 1878 map you mentioned too. I live near Macon, GA so it should be fairly easy for me to locate a copy. Thanks again, CA
