Hi-I have a pretty good bit of Edmondson information on my website, which is password-protected. Some of the participants may be able to help you. I am at a deadend too. My Edmondson ancestor was Celia (Sealy, Celie etc, probably a variant of Priscilla, born in SC late 1700s, My whole tree is on my website. One of the migration trails for Edmondsons was Virginia to Craven County and nearby counties in NC, then thru SC to GA. From GA, the trend was westward. Seems unlikely they would have been in Columbus GA before Putnam. That part of GA didn't open up for white settlement until 1821+ after the treaty of Indian Springs. Email me at and I will send you a username and password for my website. We are posting stuff about Edmondsons (and my related family, Harp) quite often. Thanks for responding,
Kristina Simms
