I have a genealogy document that an ancestor made about 30-40 years ago about my Cox/Holt ancestry. http://www.casey-genealogy.com/Holt-White/Page3.html is the page where a facsimile can be found.

In it, she mentions a town (now gone) called Stanfordsville, about 12 miles south of Eatonton called "Devil's Half Acre" with a Murder Creek running through it.

Anyone know about this place now?
