Looking for information on Lillian Knight. The family Bible of Bertie Mae Groce, (her daughter) lists Lillie Sue as born in Cedartown, GA on October 10, 1886. Lillie married Dudley Jerome Groce on May 13, 1902 in Cedartown, GA. Dudley (son of Buford Groce and Dovey McWhorter) died October 8, 1908 in Cedartown, GA. Lillian later married James Willian Ward.
From South End Cemetery transcription (Bamberg County, SC)
James William Ward 2-29-1874 11-16-1952
Lillie Knight Ward w/ of James 10-10-1886 10-31-1963
Bertie Groce Black 7-20-1903 9-25-1984

Lillian's grandaughter said that Lillian may have Native American ancestry.

The 1910 Census for Cedartown, GA in Polk County, GA shows Lillian Gross (may be transcribed as Grass), age 25, as head of family with 3 children, and one boarder. She is listed as born in GA, as was her father. Her mother's birthplace is listed as Alabama.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
