Are your Brooks related to Robert Foster Brooks (1851-1921) family. His wife is Lucretia (Carter?), b. 1852. Their children: Berta (b. 1879). Bayard (b. 1882). Blachet (male, b. 1885). Beauchamp (b. 1887). Burral ? (male, b. 1892) and Burleigh (b. 1895).

This family is in Rochelle, Wilcox county, Georgia in 1900. I cannot find them after that. Their son, Beauchamp Brook, b. 1887 said he was born in Rockmart, Polk, Georgia and their oldest son, Bayard said he was born in Polk County in 1882.

Robert Foster Brooks was son of Augustus G. (J?) Brooks of Greene County, Georgia (in 1840 & 1850 Greene County, in 1860 Newton County). Augustus G. Brooks married Emaline F. Ellis (b. 1823) in Greene County, Georgia 20 Oct 1843.
