I have a copy of the book, "Polk County, Georgia Marriage Book 'A' 1852-1880" by Patricia A. Millican. I checked the book for any Doig/Doeg marriages and found two. They are listed below.
A. J. Doig married Margaret A. Puckett 27 Nov 1854; Recorded in Book A, page 130.
Thomas Doig married Susan Burke 28 June 1874; Recorded in Book A, page 172.
There were no Doegs listed in the book.
