My family is Blankenship's from Polk County, Georgia. I am in the middle of trying to do a background thing on them since I don't know much about that side. All I can tell you is my great-grand-father's name and his wife. F. E. " Papa Bill" Blankenship and he married Rachel Ayers Blankenship and then later married Gertrude Jordan. I will have more information shortly. Do you have anything on the Blankenships? Could this be the same family?
