Mary, the community of Fincher is located near Meansville, GA,about 2 miles South of the county seat of Pike County, Zebulon, GA. The community of Fincher is today primarily comprised of Fincher's United Methodist Church and Fincher's Cemetery, both on land donated by Joseph and Mary Fincher, nee Mary Perry Horn. There is a nice write-up about the progeny of Joseph and Mary Fincher on pages 470-471 of the History of Pike County 1822-1989. The book is no longer in print, but copies are available for review at the Pike County Library in Zebulon. From my review, it appears that with the exception of the youngest son, William Jonathan who moved with his wife Mary Elizabeth to Potter Township in Polk County Ark in 1888, the other four siblings lived in or near Pike County for the remainder of their lives.
