Nancy Davidson married Joseph Warren 7. Barbary Davidson married John Weldon 8. George Washington Davidson 9. 10. 11. 12. 13. In 1838 Isaac T. Weldon was a resident of Pike Co. GA Joseph Davidson enlisted in North Carolina, 20 Apr 1776 and served to 10 Nov 1778, as a private in Captain Goodman and Roger Moore's Companies, Colonal Thomas Polk's North Carolina Regiment and was in the battles of Brandywine, Germantown and Monmouth. In 1818, the soldier was living in Jasper Co., GA previous thereto, he had resided in Montgomery Co., AL He was allowed pension on his application executed 19 Apr 1824, at which time he was aged seventy years old resided in Pike Co., GA, where he had then resided for about six years. He died 29 Aug 1830, in said Pike Co., GA The soldier married 12 Sep 1781, in Orange County, NC, Sarah who was born in 1761. In 1855, one Unity Pevy, of Meriwether Co., GA, stated that her deceased husband was a brother of this Sarah Davidson. She did not state given name of her husband, Sarah Davidson's brother. Soldier's widow, Sarah, was allowed pension on her application executed 5 Nov 1838, while residing in Pike Co., GA. She died 13 Mar 1841, in Pike Co., GA . The Widow stated that thirteen children were born of her marriage to Joseph Davidson. Ten were living in 1838. In 1855 the only children living is shown above. Unity met the Davidson's in the year 1785 or 1786 Unity and her husband married soon after the Rev War was over. and settled near Joseph and Sarah Davidson in Warren Co. GA. They lived within three miles of each other about 20 years and knew all their children . Gillom Scogins was a friend with Sarah Davidson of Pike Co. GA John Weldon was Adm of the Estate Note: Joseph Davidson of Pike Co. GA, Whose son Elias married Lucrecia Leverett of Troup Co. He died 1830 (Could this be another Joseph Davidson? Note: Joseph Davidson also served in Rowan Co. N.C. according to NC Rev Army accounts.
