Jesse Howell, James Howell, and Samuel Harris

On the 1860 Spalding County census I find whom I believe are my ggg-grandparents:

Jesse Howell - 62 - SC
Levina Howell - 61 - GA
Virginia Howell - 30 - GA
John Howell - 22 - GA
Polly Harris - 90 - GA

I find the same family on the 1850 Pike County, GA census (and I understand that Spalding County was at that time a part of Pike County):

Jessee Howel - 50 - GA
Lavinia Howel - 50 - GA
Virginia E. Howel - 25 - GA
Samuel Howard - 19 - GA (note he is not a Howell)
John Howel - 13 - GA
Samuel Harris - 80 - VA
Mary Harris - 79 - SC

At ancestry.com I find that Jesse Howell and Liviney Harris married Oct 15, 1818 in Clarke County, GA. And I find Jesse Howell and Samuel Harris as neighbors on the 1820 Clarke County, 1830 Monroe County, and the 1840 Monroe County censuses.

Now also on the 1850 Pike County census are my g-grandparents:

James Howel - 25 - Ga
Rebecca Howel - 20 - GA

James Howell (born August 19, 1823) and Rebecca Floyd Huckaby (born January 17, 1827) married December 23, 1847 in Pike County.

On the 1840 census, in the Jesse Howell family, there are:

1 male 30-40 -- evidently Jesse
1 female 30-40 - evidently Lavinia
1 male 15-20 -- evidently James (born 1823)
1 female 15-20 -- evidently Virginia
1 male 10-15 -- probably William J. Howell (listed with James and Rebecca on the 1870 Butler County, AL census)
1 male 0-5 -- evidently John

Does anyone know anything about this Howell and/or this Harris family? Would love to hear from you!
