I am looking for any information on my 2nd great grandfather William A Simpson. He married Louisa Americus "Catherine" Howell. Appears in 1870,1880 Census for Pickens County Georgia. Birth June 1844, Ga. Parents from SC. Luke Tate's book "History of Pickens County Georgia" shows William A Simpson being commissioned as Tax receiver on 1/12/1881.
I am looking for any information that would help identify his parents or siblings.
