When I corresponded with Mary Crow Gravino she didn't share with me where and what she found to verify that information about Anna. I don't know whether Mary has ever told any other researcher.

It seems a lot of people think Richard Taylor was Anna's mother, but I don't know where that information originated.

The only Chief Richard Taylor I've been able to find is the well-educated Richard Taylor that went to Washington during the Cherokee removal. The time frame seemed all wrong to me, so I don't think he's a possibility.

Wish I knew where all these ideas for Anna's surname came from!
