Children with wrong last name??

In the 1860 Census for Pickens County Georgia, you will find the family of Thomas Norton. Listed with him are his wife, Margaret, daughter, Sarah Norton Parker, and grandson, Thomas Parker. Also listed are 3 children, Samuel N, Adolphus E, Margaret A. These show the last name as Norton. I believe this may be a missprint. Could they be Sarah's, and therefore Parkers? She later married a Neal. I do not find them in the 1870 census as Nortons, Parkers, or Neals. Any info greatly appreciated.
