Here's another Indian claimant mentioning Holcomb
This letter appears in Claudine Childers Prather's book "Some Prominent Ancestors of Our Family in Pickens County Georgia"
Pg. 216
Bear Creek Ala.
Dec. 9, 1907
Grim Miller, Your Letter Read
My mothers name was Annie Taylor, a daughter of a Chief. Her mothers name was Ruth or Ruthie Taylor. They were Reg. at Red Clay. I was living in Ga. 1851.
Polly Ann Holcomb was a sister to me, or I had a sister by that name, who lived in Pickens Co. GA.
Very Truly,
Nancy Loveless

Hope this helps in some way,
