No this Frank Brown is the son of Tillman Powell Brown. Frank was murdered on Main Street in Rockmart on April 16 1910 by another farmer Arch Mathis who would get life, but got it commuted and only served 5 years. Franks father Tillman was also murdered but I haven't found the details on that yet..Move up to April 26 1936 and Franks daughter Hattie was murdered by her 2nd husband and left in the woods off the side of the road where dogs ate her up for 3 days. The day Harry Howe was to go to trial, Franks 2 sons, came out of the bushes, one of them emptied his 38 on him and he died a few minutes later on the court house steps. The Boys were both acquitted for the murder since there had been so much leading up to it.. I was glad to read they were able to go home with their mama for chicken dinner that afternoon..Howe deserved what he got!
