I am seeking anyone who knows of or is related to the families descended from John Wesley Kemp (born about 1810 in Greenville,SC) and wife Lovinnia (Lavinia or Viniea (sp)) Family appears in 1860 Paulding Census as "Camp" with children: James L., Afred, George, Solomon,and Martha. Same group of people appear in the 1850 Census for Cobb county as "Kemp". Name change appears to be a mis-spelling artifact of the census taker writing down the interview information.
